What we store
- Your membership — a visitor identity for your browser and the display name you claim.
- Your activity — the films you log, ratings, reviews, tags, lists, follows, likes and your four favourites. This is the service.
- Newsletter — if you subscribe to the Call Sheet, your email address, until you unsubscribe.
Why we store it
To keep your diary across devices, show your activity to members who follow you, and produce your stats and Year in Review. That's the whole reason — there is no advertising profile being built in this reference build.
Who can see your activity
Your logs and reviews are visible to followers and appear in the community activity feed. On a private deployment, only members invited by the owner can see anything at all. You control your content: edit or delete any log, review or list, and the site owner can remove anything from anyone.
Your controls
- Export — download your diary, ratings, reviews, watchlist and lists as CSV, free, any time.
- Delete — remove any individual item, or ask the owner to wipe everything you've created.
- Newsletter — every Call Sheet email has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies & local storage
We keep a small amount of state in your browser's local storage so your session is instant and works offline — your visitor identity and a mirror of your own logs. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Third parties
Film metadata in a live deployment comes from TMDB (attributed in the footer). This reference build uses a self-contained fictional catalogue and calls no third-party data providers by default. Storage and delivery run on the cshell platform.
